Iv just sold my 2016 r1 as iv just got caught speeding at over 130 mph that bike is crazy … iv got a Honda vtr 1000 so could just hop back on that but thinking I want one of these … it’s around 60 bhp more then the vtr so should still be a blast .. the r1 was 210 lol

Hi, I'm new to the BMW 1250 GS. What is a good RPM range to cruise in like on back roads? Is 4-5k RPM too high or is that is when the bike is happy? Would love some advice, the shift light seems to want me to shift wayyy too low RPMs.

I'm a Speed Twin 1200 guy , but I really like this bike too. I might have to add it to the garage.

BMW R1250GS is not perfect Windshield not adjustable at hiway speed Lot of road/ tire noise comes up below the dash specially on hiway Getting the TFT to work with cardo can be a pain just remember to always start cardo before turning bike power In the low version the kick stand can be a too long be careful of where you park it also kick stand doesnt lock when on side stand always park it in gear Just to name a few things

I love my 2020 Niro. I've driven from FL to NY and back in a couple days, took it out camping in the Florida prairie and slept in the back with the seats down. Slept 2 adults and a kid out fishing overnight, Florida to TN and back. Lived out of the thing for a couple weeks during some rough times. I've put over 80k miles on it in the last 3 years and it's still strong. There are some trim issues with paint coming off of the roof rails, and the rubber button for the trunk is cracking, some of the rubber around the tail lights have gotten a bit dry-rotted. Other than those complaints, I would say this is a very comfortable car that gets me at least 45 mpg consistently. I'll drive it until it's dead.

Curious how your dry clutch is holding up. Mine just went out at 3385 miles

How is the LCD screen in bright sunlight in the summer ?, is it hard to read compared to the Kawasaki Z650 TFT screen? I really want to buy one of those bikes but i cant choose duo the screen. I have tested both bike’s a couple of times and they both don’t disappoint me when it comes to the engine’s, I am just unsure about the LCD screen on the Honda.

I bought a 2019 959 about 6 months ago (my prev bike was a 06 GSXR1000). Here's my 2 cents. Pros - The bike handles great in the corners when riding at a good pace. Brakes with the stock pads work well. The motor is fine above 5k rpm, the higher you rev it, the better it pulls. I shift it a lot. The pegs appear to be lower than on my GSXR which is weird (back more but lower). Cons - I'm 5' 6" and the seat height is too high (tried all three seat types (1199 is the lowest)). Clutch engages near the end of the release (I know this can be adjusted under the handle). The clutch engages quickly as well. The prev owner may have slipped the clutch more than normal causing excessive wear (the clutch stack height is near the min). The stock shifter is wobbly where the bolt goes through the shifter (enough to notice when shifting). This may have been because of neglect (it has two o-rings and needs to be lubed). Upgrade/Parts are so expensive. A slip-on pipe is between $1400-$2600. The rear tire is an "off" size (why!!) 180/60-17. It cost me around $500 at my the Ducati dealer to get it serviced (basically, an oil change and to get the "oil change needed" light reset).

At this price the Honda seems to be competing with the Speed Triple R as well as the Trident .
